Seth MacFarlane recently took to Twitter to reveal he is still unhappy with the fact that his show, Family Guy is still on Fox.
The series first premiered on Fox in January 1999 and has remained on the network since then. In September 2020, it was revealed that Family Guy was renewed for two more seasons by Fox. MacFarlane has since expressed that he wants to move the show to another network, claiming that Fox News host Tucker Carlson is the reason.
MacFarlane wrote on Twitter, “Tucker Carlson’s latest opinion piece once again makes me wish Family Guy was on any other network. Look, Fox, we both know this marriage isn’t working anymore. The sex is only once a year, I don’t get along with your mother, and well…I’ve been having an affair with NBC.”
It has long been known that MacFarlane and Carlson appear to have opposing views regarding policies and stances surrounding COVID-19. While Carlson criticizes vaccinations and constantly expresses his concerns regarding their effectiveness, MacFarlane is often using his social media platform to share science-based facts relating to vaccines and the pandemic.
