Sergey Brin — the eighth richest person in the world and Google co-founder — has reportedly told his financial team to sell off all his investments tied to Elon Musk. This follows the recent news alleging Brin’s divorce back in January with Nicole Shanahan resulted from an affair with Musk.
Musk has since called the news from WSJ “total bs” and that contrary to their reported falling out, they were at a party over the weekend.
Brin and Musk have been long-time friends and he has even supported Tesla through the financial crisis of 2008. There’s currently no news on how much Brin has invested in Musk’s projects, and if Musk was the real reason behind the divorce.
This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night!
I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.
