Sennheiser has now introduced the third generation of its Momentum True Wireless earbuds. Boasting a revamped design for both the earbuds and the case itself which brings it closer to the CX range, the new offering from the German audio company places a spotlight on its improved noise-canceling capabilities. The device is now equipped with what the brand calls Adaptive Noise Cancelation which is able to monitor ambient noise continuously and adjust and finetune your ANC experience accordingly.
As for sound quality, the Momentum True Wireless 3 carries True Response transducers working in tandem with 7mm dynamic drivers to provide a more “immersive” session, taking you across “deep bass, natural mids and detailed highs.” As usual, you’ll also get to change your EQ settings via Sennheiser’s Smart Control app while a new Sound Personalization feature will present you with hearing tests that can then allow you to create an audio profile most suited to your liking. Other features include AAC, SBC and aptX support, a three-microphone configuration, customizable touch controls, and an IPX4 splash-resistant rating.
For those interested, Sennheiser’s Momentum True Wireless 3 will be available on May 10 for $250 USD over on the company’s website.
