This past summer, Saweetie has teased fans of her debut album, Pretty B*tch Music, which she has delayed multiple times. It appears that her fans will have to wait a little longer having recently announced that she is releasing a new project that she has been working on this entire year.
While the debut mixtape might be on the backburner, for now, Saweetie has now revealed that she is dropping a new seven-song project to hold fans over. The shorter project is titled Icy Season and boasts several high-profile collaborations. While Saweetie did not divulge who fans can expect to hear on Icy Season, the hip-hop artist did say that she considers it as the “pretty bitch bible.” The mini mixtape comes after many previous album delays which she has attributed to an inspiring conversation she had with her mother and reflecting on how the album “was a body of work with no soul.”
Saweetie’s Icy Season is expected to drop on January 7, 2022.
