Ryan Gosling exuded Ken-ergy at a TAG Heuer event in London on 20 April. While the actor has wrapped filming on Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” movie, in which he plays Ken opposite Margot Robbie’s Barbie, Gosling has continued to lean into the aesthetic of his character and channelled Ken’s look. And, tbh, we are struggling to see him as anything other than the Ken doll.
The 42-year-old posed for the camera in a navy striped suit, teamed with a Barbie pink shirt, black belt, and smart loafers. Gosling’s look was further enhanced by his new longer, wavy hair style. “The Gray Man” actor was sporting highlighted beachy hair, pulled forward to create a tousled fringe. With a little facial hair, and those extra-long eyelashes, Gosling was serving real Ken-ergy, a term coined by the star and his partner, Eva Mendes. As the world awaits the July release of the film, celebrities have been dressing in the Barbiecore trend and embracing fuchsia pink outfits, but Gosling is certainly making a case for a Kencore takeover in the style stakes, too.
For the TAG Heuer Carrera 60th anniversary fashion event, Gosling rubbed shoulders with “Bridgerton“‘s Simone Ashley, who coincidentally wore her own Barbiecore look in a sparkling pink, cutout micro minidress by RE23 Christopher Kane, “Heartstopper”‘s Kit Connor who opted for cutout wide leg trousers, and “Euphoria“‘s Jacob Elordi, who was also sporting a new moustache. Scroll ahead to see more of Gosling’s Kencore look, as well as the other celebrities stepping out in style.
