Run the Jewels Play “A Few Words for the Firing Squad” on Colbert

Run the Jewels were the musical guest on last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Killer Mike and El-P performed an intense “A Few Words for the Firing Squad” from their 2020 album RTJ4. Check it out below.

The episode also included a performance from the Eagles’ Joe Walsh, who is hosting a residency on Colbert with the show’s house band Stay Human. St. Vincent started her own residency the week of July 25, followed by James Taylor’s starting August 1, and Walsh’s starting August 8.

RTJ4 included the singles “Yankee and the Brave,” “Ooh La La,” and “Ju$t.” The duo recently teamed up with Danger Mouse, Black Thought, and A$AP Rocky on the Cheat Codes song “Strangers.”
