RUF, the German automotive manufacturer known for its high-performance vehicles based on Porsche platforms, recently unveiled its latest creation at this year’s Monterey Car Week — the 2025 RUF Rodeo. The stunning off-road sports car merges luxury, performance and rugged capability, inspired by the iconic Porsche 911 and the Western ethos of “do anything, go anywhere.”
At the heart of the RUF Rodeo is a turbocharged 3.6L horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine, delivering an impressive 610 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a fully adjustable all-wheel-drive system with limited-slip differentials, ensuring precise control and adaptability across any terrain.
The Rodeo’s chassis is crafted from carbon fiber, featuring a lightweight monocoque design with an Integrated Roll Cage (IRC) for enhanced safety and rigidity. Complementing the robust chassis is a sophisticated suspension system, including double-wishbone suspension with pushrod horizontal dampers and active electronic suspension. This setup, combined with custom Goodyear all-terrain tires bearing the RUF Rodeo script, provides 9.6 inches of ground clearance, making the Rodeo as capable off-road as it is on.
RUF has also equipped the Rodeo with a cutting-edge carbon-ceramic braking system and a RUF Bi-LED lighting system, ensuring superior performance and visibility in any condition. Despite its rugged exterior, the Rodeo’s interior is a luxurious homage to the American West. Drawing inspiration from the Ralph Lauren RRL Ranch, the cabin is adorned with rich brown leather and vibrant fabric stitching, evoking the spirit of the Wild West.
Though the Rodeo is packed with modern amenities like power windows, locks and air conditioning, it notably forgoes an infotainment system — allowing drivers and passengers to fully immerse themselves in the driving experience. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced at the time of writing, however, we expect more from official RUF channels soon.
