Roddy Ricch Taps Terrace Martin for Reflective “Lonely Road”

Roddy Ricch Taps Terrace Martin for Reflective "Lonely Road"

Roddy Ricch has revealed his latest cut lifted from his forthcoming studio venture – as well as an update on when it’s set to drop. While The Navy Album was initially scheduled to release before the end of 2024, the rapper paired the bad news of its February 2025 delay with the Terrace Martin-featuring “Lonely Road.”

The soulful new single hears Ricch reflect on his recent years away from the spotlight, with Martin handling the saxophone melody.

In the cut’s accompanying music video, Ricch receives a call from his partner letting him know “Navy is on the way,” referring to their child. Ricch dons all navy and a set of wheat Timbs in the video as he continues to run into feather-winged angels on his commute. In another captivating shot, Martin delivers a striking saxophone solo standing the middle of an empty highway. Watch it above.

Per Apple Music, The Navy Album is set to have 18 tracks including “Lonely Road” and “Survivor’s Remorse,” released back in May.

Stream “Lonely Road” – out everywhere now and stay tuned for more updates on The Navy Album, expected to drop on all DSPs on February 21, 2025.
