Roddy Ricch Returns with “Survivor’s Remorse”

Roddy Ricch Returns with "Survivor's Remorse"

Roddy Ricch has officially made his return.

After taking to socials earlier this week to confirm a new studio LP entitled The Navy Album, the rapper has dropped off his first single presumably from the project; dubbed “Survivor’s Remorse,” the two-and-a-half minute cut comes accompanied by blue-hued cover art as well as a matching music video.

Ricch gets in his sad boy bag on the track, which kicks off with a choir at the beginning before the rapper gets into the bulk of the cut, which hears him directly reflecting on the past few years.

“Let’s talk about everything so I can give it some closure / Way before the Grammys, Billboard charts, when I was ridin’ ’round a local / Let’s talk about how we done came up and thеy tried fold us / Roddy really anti, they took it pеrsonal, what the f*ck was I supposed to do,” he opens up the first verse.

The reflective offering arrives in tandem with a cinematic visual directed by Spike Jordan. Find it in the gallery above.

Stream “Survivor’s Remorse” on Spotify and Apple Music now and stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates on The Navy Album as they emerge.
