Rod Wave Drops Sixth Studio Album 'LAST LAP'

Rod Wave is taking no breaks, continuing the streak of releasing a project a year since 2017. Dropping his sixth studio album LAST LAP, the newest project is 23-track LP that boasts big name guest features like Lil Baby, Lil Yachty and Rylo Rodriguez.

Amongst the 23 songs on the album are tracks like “Passport Junkies” and “Fall Fast in Love,” both of which landed on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year. Other standout tracks include “25” and the title track, “Last Lap” which Rod has dedicated to his uncle and manager Uncle Dee following his tragic passing this summer. His track featuring Lil Yachty and Lil Baby is titled “F**k Fame” and lands as the fifth song on the record.

Next week, Rod kicks off his ‘Last Lap Tour” which spans across 36 of North America’s biggest arenas, coast-to-coast. The tour begins on October 19 in Phoenix, Arizona and will include special guests like Moneybagg Yo, Toosii, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior and Eelmatic. The tour takes Rod across the U.S. until December 18, where the tour ends in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The St. Petersburg native is known for his extensive touring history including two consecutive nationwide arena tours, grossing tens of millions of dollars on the road.
