Rock Hall 2022: Watch Lionel Richie Perform “Easy” With Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl

Lionel Richie was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with its class of 2022, and as part of the event, he performed at the induction ceremony. Richie was inducted into the Hall of Fame by Lenny Kravitz, who gave a speech discussing the first time they worked together. Richie played a medley that included his songs “Hello,” “All Night Long,” and the Commodores’ hit, “Easy.” For “Easy,” he brought out Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, who joined him on guitar. Watch it happen below.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced its full list of nominees in February, which included Eminem, Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, Eurythmics, Duran Duran, and Pat Benatar. Though Parton initially declined to be nominated, the organization moved forward with her nomination anyway, and she ultimately received the award.
