RM Delivers Stellar Debut Studio Album ‘Indigo’

RM Delivers Stellar Debut Studio Album ‘Indigo’

RM of BTS has officially dropped off his debut studio album, Indigo.

Clocking in at approximately 30 minutes, the stunning 10-track project features a star-studded list of guest appearances from Erykah Badu on the opener “Yun,” Anderson .Paak on “Still Life,” Tablo, Kim Saweol, Paul Blanco, Mahalia, Colde, Jo Yujin of Cherry Filter and Park Ji-yoon and is evidence of RM’s undeniable growth as a musician. Indigo marks the rapper’s first solo release his 2018 mixtape mono. and has been in the works for four years. In his recent Rolling Stone cover story with Pharrell, the BTS leader shared that being able to temporarily step away from the group helped him focus on his solo music. ”So it was 10 years, really intense as a team. And I actually was in charge of almost all of the interviews and representing the team in front of the other members. That was my role, I guess,” he shared.

“I think I got really . . . I don’t know, ‘Yo, I got to stop this for a bit. I got to shut it down and fall away from it and then just see what’s going on,’ making my mind really calm down,” RM continued. “That’s how I got to concentrate on my solo [album]. These days I really have been thinking about when I first listened to you, the first feeling and the vibe, and the reason why I started, why I chose music for my whole life, I guess.”
