Rick Ross and Meek Mill Tease New Music, Previewing Unreleased Bars From Studio Session

It seems that Rick Ross and Meek Mill are collaborating on new music together. While the two rappers were once rumored to be embroiled in a feud concerning Mill’s recording contract with Ross’ Maybach Music Group, the duo appears to have since reunited in recent years and now, may be cooking up some new hearts.

Mill has dropped all five of his studio albums under Maybach Music Group, beginning with 2011’s Dreams and Nightmares, to his most recent release, 2021’s Expensive Pain.

On Tuesday, Ross posted a video of himself and Mill at a studio in Miami. In the footage, they’re listening to an unreleased track of Mill rapping. In the caption, Ross writes that something, presumably new music, is coming “very soon.”

“You been in my back and put mud all in your brother name / I’m gonna get you back because you know Cardo don’t play no f**king games / All in the open with that .30 on me let it aim,” Meek raps on the recording.

Mill also shared a photo carousel with Ross in the blue-lit studio.

Last month, the rapper debuted the surprise “Don’t Follow the Heathens Freestyle” and said that he plans to put out a new album each quarter of 2023. He’s been largely silent on his progress since making that declaration, though these studio sessions with Ross may indicate that some new music will be arriving sometime soon.

In other music news, watch the explosive teaser for Jimin’s forthcoming new single “Set Me Free Pt. 2.”
