With just a few weeks left in the year, it seems like everybody is looking back at the last 12 months and taking inventory of their 2024 (we certainly are!). viagogo, the world’s largest secondary ticket marketplace for live events, has decided to join in on the fun, as they’ve revealed the best-selling touring artists that blew through the United Kingdom in 2024.
Topping the list, perhaps unsurprisingly, is none other than Taylor Swift, whose “Eras Tour” brought in a record-breaking $2 billion in ticket sales over the course of its many legs (making it the biggest tour in history). As a bonus, viagogo also listed out the cities in the UK with the “most devoted swifties,” or, in English, the places that bought the most Taylor Swift tickets. For that honor, London takes the top spot, with Manchester, Nottingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh following in that order.

Swift’s live presence was so dominant, in fact, that her demand was 196% higher than the artist sitting in second place — that being one Mr. Liam Gallagher. The top five is then rounded out by Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, and P!NK, with Coldplay, AC/DC, Take That, Olivia Rodrigo, and Diljit Dosanjh ultimately capping off the ranking.
Other fun stats of note include the amount of travel accumulated between communities of fans. Coldplay’s fans, for instance, clocked over 18.8 million miles traveling to their various shows around the globe.

Looking ahead to 2025, tours from figures like Sabrina Carpenter and festivals like All Points East (which features acts like Raye, Doechii, and Tyla) will look to make a splash.
