Following closely to the beginnings of Resident Evil as a universe, the film will dive into the Umbrella Corporation and the human experimentation they carried out on the citizens of Raccoon City, transforming them into nightmarish zombies.
Portraying Claire Redfield and Jill Valentine will be Kaya Scodelario and Hannah John-Kamen, accompanied by Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, and Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker. The Strangers: Prey at Night and The Other Side of the Door veteran Johannes Roberts will be directing.
