Ree Shares the Secrets to Her Cute and Comfy Travel Outfit

Ree Shares the Secrets to Her Cute and Comfy Travel Outfit

Ahead of Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for many things, but there are a few that really stand out above the rest. The first is Ree’s new cookbook with recipes that are just as fast and doable as they are delicious. Yeah, it’s basically a dinner dream come true!

The second thing we’re most thankful for: The fact that Ree is currently on tour for said cookbook. Not only can fans attend the cookbook tour, get the chance to meet her, and talk all things Dinner’s Ready!, but we’re also getting constant content. And if you ask us, there’s hardly anything better than that!

Recently, Ree took to Instagram to share her go-to travel look while making her way from city to city. She even included some helpful (and pretty hilarious) tips that make taking to the skies easier. And with holiday travel coming up, there’s absolutely no better time to try your hand at a few—and recreate her comfy and cute airport outfit.

When it comes to travel outfits, comfort is key. That, and practicality—which The Pioneer Woman knows all too well. That’s why we’re relying on Ree’s advice. And you can, too! We’ve done some digging and found similar pieces to the ones she recommends so that your next flight is ree-soundingly better than what you’re used to.

To start, you’ll want to get your hands on a cozy shawl. According to Ree, it “serves as a blanket on the plane and hides my very wrinkled top.” Talk about a win-win! Pair that shawl with stretchy jeans so that “circulation isn’t cut off on the plane,” then finish off the outfit with boots that unzip. This step is especially important to avoid any unfortunate holdups while going through security. Trust us, it happens. Or rather… trust Ree! She posts, “boots that unzip so I don’t have to ask the TSA agent to help me pull them off at security. It’s happened before. It was so awkward.” See? 😂

We also can’t forget her luggage choices. After all, it’s kinda required for any trip you’ll be taking. For Ree, that includes a rolling carry-on suitcase and a roomy weekender bag. Our suggestions? The Pioneer Woman luggage and The Pioneer Woman weekender bag, of course! Ree also suggests, a “small purse I can shove in my carry-on so I only have two bags.”

And last but certainly not least… Ree’s final flight essential is a Diet Dr Pepper, aka “the breakfast of champions!!” Yep, we’re convinced: Traveling done the Ree way is traveling done right!
