Real Estate Broker Behind David Guetta’s “United At Home” Miami Stream Speaks About Organizing the Event

Real Estate Broker Behind David Guetta’s “United At Home” Miami Stream Speaks About Organizing the Event

Back on April 18th, 2020, David Guetta raised the bar of the music livestreaming industry with his ballyhooed “United At Home” livestream event for COVID-19 relief. Flanked by magnificent high-rises in Downtown Miami, Guetta set up camp at the Icon Brickell and threw down a scintillating set with festival-grade production, garnering over 12 million viewers and raising a staggering $700,000 for COVID-19 relief.

Such a momentous and unique breakthrough event does not happen without a concerted and robust plan of action, though, and Guetta’s team worked tirelessly to make it happen. In preparation for the event, Guetta teamed up with the Miami Downtown Development Authority and residential real estate broker Michael Wiesenfeld, an associate at Brickell-based firm Freud Group. Along with Jeremy Zeitoun and the co-founder of Guetta’s label, Jean-Charles Carre, Wiesenfeld also spearheads Charity Guys, a consulting agency that produces creative fundraising campaigns for celebrities and high-profile organizations.

In an interview published today in the Miami Herald, Wiesenfeld waxed poetic about the event, which he referred to as his “biggest professional fulfillment.”

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA), an independent agency whose mission is to promote and strengthen the economy of Downtown Miami, also praised the event effusively. “The opportunity for the Miami DDA to partner with David Guetta and raise over $700,000 for charity in under two hours was monumental,” said Christina Crespi, the organization’s Executive Director. “The two-hour livestream was also a fantastic way to showcase the uniqueness of Downtown Miami to the entire world.”

“Through our Downtown Vibes Series and the David Guetta livestream event, the Miami DDA has been able to increase Downtown Miami’s exposure and positively position our city to a global audience of over 20 million viewers,” Crespi continued. “We are certainly interested in pursuing virtual concerts and events that bring joy and entertainment to our residents while showcasing Downtown Miami on an international scale.”

Due to the smashing success of the livestream with Guetta, Wiesenfeld and Charity Guys are already planning another event in Downtown Miami for July, and, according to the Herald, they are scouting three different locations in Downtown Miami and Brickell.

“We like this area because it offers magical visuals between the stunning architecture and the bay,” Wiesenfeld said. “Moreover, we love the concept of bringing people together from their balconies, but this time we are working on something even more special.”
