Following last year’s Barracuda X, Razer has built upon its lineup of gaming headsets. The Barracuda and the Barracuda Pro offer dual wireless connectivity, noise cancellation and additional features to optimize the gaming experience.
With weights of less than 1 lb (.45 kg) each, the Barracuda and the Barracuda Pro bring together superior sound quality integrated with beamforming microphones. Both sets have a 40-hour battery life and boast 50mm drivers and pressure-relieving memory foam earbuds.
Compatible with PC, PlayStation and mobile devices, the headsets’ dual wireless connectivity, which Razer calls SmartSwitch, means that users can connect to two devices simultaneously. They can then switch between the devices by simply double-tapping a button.
The Barracuda Pro sits at a higher price point of $249.99 USD, with a more complex sound system featuring an audio amplifier and plusher, rotating ear cups. The Barracuda, meanwhile, is priced at $159.99 USD.
