MOUNT WESTMORE, the West Coast rap supergroup comprised of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 and Too $hort, have debuted their first ever studio album aptly titled Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort.
Clocking in at an hour and five minutes, the 16-track studio effort comes together as a reminder of why the individual careers of the members are so storied. In a genre that has had a history of thriving off beef, Snoop, Cube, 40 and Too $hort stand side by side to honor hip-hop and each other, offering an album that hears them staying true to their roots while constantly attempting to one-up each other in the spirit of friendly competition. As Too $hort succinctly puts its, “E-40 and Too $hort hail from the Bay, while Snoop Dogg and Cube are from LA, and we are like the West Coast foundation.”
