Rae Sremmurd has returned with a new single, “Torpedo.” Debuting alongside an official music video, the track hears Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi rap about taking risks and pushing themselves to their limits.
In the visual, the two rappers ride in sports cars, pulling donuts in the parking lot and rapping from behind the wheel. The video is interpreted with footage of Lee and Jxmmi performing live in front of massive crowds.
“I’m a soldier, no limit / Just call me lieutenant,” Lee wraps in the chorus. “I’ll be done in a minute / I’m testin’ the fish.”
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a new album from Rae Sremmurd since 2018’s SR3MM. Released through Ear Drummer Records and Interscope Records, their last full-length project was a triple LP, composed of not only Rae Sremmurd music, but also Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi’s solo albums, Swaecation and Jxmtro, respectively.
