Professional racing tipster Andrew Mount takes a good look at today’s Spreadex markets to find the best value spread betting and fixed odds opportunities.
Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

NOTTINGHAM RACECARD No1s
Spreadex might have pitched the Nottingham RACECARD No1s market a little low at 39-42 and it’s worth a small buy. JAXTA (2.15) disappointed at Pontefract last time but that was his first run since being gelded and he also bombed out on his only other visit to that left-handed venue, finishing last of eight when 3-1 joint-favourite. ALASKAN POINT (2.45) heads the betting and will appreciate the step up to 1m after keeping on well into mid-division at Ascot on last month’s debut. It will be disappointing if he doesn’t pick up at least 10pts for second place. MYBOYMAX (3.15) has won two of his last three and could go in again, while BURNING CASH should pick up points now back in his preferred small field. COOPERATION is 9-4 from 3-1 for the 4.25 and holds solid claims and ZOOM ZOOM BABE is no forlorn hope in the finale (5.00).
Recommendation: Buy RACECARD No1s at NOTTINGHAM
CARLISLE 5.10
There is plenty of early pace on offer on this amateur riders’ handicap from the likes of CALLIOPE, THE NEW MARWAN and SEE THE SEA and it could be set up for a closer. THERMAL, a winner from off the pace at Southwell on his debut for Kevin Frost last time, often failed to settle when with Gary Moore and will relish the likely strong gallop. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price (currently 100-30).
Recommendation: Back THERMAL in Carlisle 5.10
