Queen's official tribute band announces Bohemian Rhapsody 50th anniversary tour

Next year marks the 50th anniversary of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” To help celebrate the occasion, Roger Taylor will handpick the latest iteration of their official tribute band, Queen Extravaganza, for a 2025 tour of the UK and Europe.

Kicking off on January 28th in Liverpool, Queen Extravaganza’s 52-date run will stop in Manchester, Dublin, London, and more before heading to cities like Paris, Geneva, Oslo, Stockholm, and Barcelona. See the full schedule below.

Queen Extravaganza has toured across the world for more than a decade. Produced by Taylor and Brian May, their set includes more than 20 hits from Queen’s back catalog.

“We handpick the most incredible musicians for Queen Extravaganza — and they do a fantastic job honoring our songs,” Taylor said in a statement. “It’s a great show, designed to celebrate the legacy of Queen for fans of all ages.”

In related news, Queen’s catalog and likeness rights were recently acquired by Sony Music for $1.27 billion. It’s currently unknown if Roger Taylor and Brian May have plans for their own 50th anniversary tour, but they were on the road with Adam Lambert as recently as last fall.
