As previously reported, QOTSA postponed a number of September and October shows, including headlining concerts in Boston, Cincinnati, Chicago, and Madison, Wisconsin, explaining that Homme had “no choice but to prioritize his health.” Unfortunately, festival appearances in Bridgeport, Connecticut; Memphis, Tennessee; and Mexico City had to be canceled outright.
The new dates kick off June 10th at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway, with a second show added at the same venue the following night. From there, QOTSA will play Cincinnati on June 18th; Madison on June 20th; and Chicago on June 21st. Get tickets here.
No specific health condition was cited for Homme, who had to cancel some European dates earlier in the summer due to “emergency surgery.” In 2023, the singer-guitarist revealed that he was diagnosed with an unspecified cancer the year prior, but a few months later he disclosed that he was cancer-free.
