After Quavo teased a Future collaboration on Instagram earlier this week, the Atlanta power duo dropped “Turn Yo Clic Up,” the collaborative cut, earlier today.
“He want the scoop, she want the tea,” Quavo opens over the magnetic beat, produced by Atake, Sluzyyy, Basobeats, and Macshooter49. The chorus, complete with Quavo’s classic echoing adlibs, continues “Turn your clique up dawg (Turn ‘em up), Turn your bitch up dawg (Turn her up), Tying these streets, can’t cross it (Cross ‘em up), All these streets need bosses (Boss ‘em up).”
Quavo takes the first verse, delivering steady bars that ready listeners for Future’s second verse. Future comes in hot, dissing Russell Wilson (“Goyard bag, tote the cutter, I got it out the field, f*ck Russell,”) just seconds into his run.
While Quavo’s upcoming LP’s is still in the works, he’s served up a slew of singles this year. “Turn Yo Clic Up” becomes the fourth, joining the list with “Honey Bun,” “Without You,” and “Greatness.” Future has brought his flow to a number of tracks this year as well, appearing on tracks by Don Toliver, Toosii and Joyner Lucas.
“Turn Yo Clic Up” is now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.
