As an extension to the Shrek franchise, the fan-favorite character Puss is receiving its own spin-off. Titled, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, the film follows the cat bandit as he finds out he has used up eight of his nine lives.
Universal Pictures has revealed a second official look at what to expect for Puss. The film sees Antonio Banderas voice Puss in Boots in an action-filled adventure film that sees him try his best to slow down and settled down as a “normal” cat since he is down to his final life. As he struggles to do normal cat things, Puss finds himself struggling.
The three-minute clip sees the Shrek universe venture off from the ogre storyline and focus Puss. Audiences will see Puss get a sidekick on their newest adventure slated to hit theaters this holiday season. Take a look at the trailer above. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish arrives in theaters on December 21.
