Pusha T recently revealed that fatherhood changed his tune about his highly-publicized beef with Drake.
Speaking to Desus & Mero, King Push shared that he did not want his own child to be brought up around the “energy” of their beef. “I don’t like the energy of mentioning my son in that type of energy, or any kid in that type of energy. It’s not my thing right now. I got my son,” he explained. “And it’s like, with me, I’m just not going to play about anything involving him. Like, I don’t play nothing.”
In June 2020, the rapper and his wife had their first son, Nigel Brixton. During the peak of Push and Drizzy’s beef, the former dropped the diss track “The Story of Adidon” in response to the latter’s “Duppy Freestyle,” where he told the world that Drake had a son and namedropped the mother, who turned out to be Sophie Brussaux.
Push recently announced the title of his highly-anticipated upcoming album It’s Almost Dry, and revealed a series of tour dates in support of his DAYTONA followup.
