Pusha T Performs “Diet Coke” on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ in a Blizzard

Pusha T Performs “Diet Coke” on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ in a Blizzard

Pusha T appeared as the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday evening, providing viewers with a performance of his recently-released single, “Diet Coke,” in the middle of a blizzard.

The 44-year-old rapper, who also appears on NIGO’s latest I KNOW NIGO single, “Hear Me Clearly,” performed the live rendition from a soundstage featuring a fake snow storm and a blanketed, mountainous backdrop.

The track, which includes production from Kanye West, who recently changed his name to Ye, and 880-keys, received a music video last month directed by Omar Jones. “Diet Coke” will appear on Pusha T’s upcoming fourth studio album, which has not yet received an official release date.

In a recent interview with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo on Million Dollaz Worth of Game, the rapper discussed the forthcoming record, announcing that JAY-Z will feature on the mixtape and claiming that “there’s no album better than mine this year.”

The track arrived four years following the release of King Push’s previous Ye-produced record, Daytona, which debuted in May 2018. Since then, Pusha T has released a range of tracks, including “No Problem,” “Sociopath,” “Coming Home” and “Puppets (Succession Remix),” and guest featured on several singles with the likes of Babyface Ray, Black Thought, Divine, Mako, Swizz Beatz and several others.
