That’s why, when I saw MatchesFashion had kicked off their summer sale this week with up to 50% off, my heart started to beat a little faster. At first glance, I knew this was going to be good— my fellow editors and I even exchanged very excitable Slack messages in disbelief at some of the pieces included. Now that I’ve scrolled through all thirty-one pages (yep), I can tell you with confidence this is Matches’ best sale yet. And it couldn’t have come at a better time. Just as the sun comes out and we’re heading into a ‘normal’ summer full of events and holidays once again, this edit full of beautiful versatile dresses, classic sandals and wardrobe staples is very, very welcome indeed.
Sales can sometimes be overflowing with off-season items coming to the end of their shelf-life— but not this one. Especially now that trends are less of a ‘thing’, there’s so many pieces here that were already on my current wish list that I know I’ll still want to wear for years to come. Of course, with literally thousands of products going into sale there are some duds to wade through too.
