President @MBuhari unveils world’s largest Rice Pyramids this morning in Abuja. The rice pyramids project is a collaboration of the CBN with Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN).

Since inauguration in 2015, the CBN’s Anchor Borrowers Programme has increased the average yield of rice per hectare from 1.8 metric tonnes to 5 metric tonnes and enabled 95% reduction of our annual rice import bill from 1.5 billion dollars in 2015 to now 18.5 million dollars.
