Porsche Unveils Powerful Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and GTS Models

Porsche has introduced two new models to its Panamera lineup: the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and the Panamera GTS. These latest additions continue Porsche’s tradition of combining luxury with high performance, each featuring unique characteristics.

The Panamera GTS stands out with its purist and agile tuning, making it a prime choice for those who prioritize a dynamic and emotional driving experience. Powered by a 4L biturbo V8 engine, the GTS delivers 493 hp, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 187. The enhanced sports exhaust system adds a powerful and emotional soundscape, designed to further enhance the driving experience.

Porsche has fine-tuned the GTS’s chassis for optimal performance. The dual-chamber air suspension, lowered body and reinforced anti-roll bars ensure a more direct and responsive ride. The electronically controlled PTV Plus differential lock optimizes torque distribution, enhancing stability and reducing body roll across various speeds. Despite these dynamic improvements, the GTS maintains comfort, making it suitable for daily use.

Visually, the GTS features distinctive sporty design elements, including black logos, dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlights and red brake calipers. The interior is equally luxurious, with extensive use of Race-Tex material and 18-way adjustable sports seats. The GTS-specific interior packages in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo add a unique touch, while standard features include a Bose sound system and the Sport Chrono package.

In contrast, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid represents the pinnacle of the Panamera series. It boasts a combined output of 771 hp from its V8 biturbo engine and electric motor, making it the most powerful Panamera ever. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 200 mph. Its hybrid system offers a strong electric range and efficient performance.

Both models benefit from the third generation of Panamera features, including the Porsche Driver Experience control concept, advanced HD matrix LED lights, enhanced connectivity options and the ability to park via a smartphone app. The Turbo S E-Hybrid also offers an Executive variant with additional luxury features.

These new models are now available to order, with the GTS exclusively as a sports saloon and the Turbo S E-Hybrid offered in various configurations — with the first wave of vehicles to be delivered in Germany fall of 2024.
