Porsche has unveiled the latest evolution of the 911 Carrera T, a model focused on delivering a pure driving experience through lightweight construction, agile handling and a manual six-speed transmission. Available for the first time as both a coupé and a cabriolet, the 911 Carrera T offers a unique mix of performance and style aimed at driving purists.
Equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine, the Carrera T boasts 394 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque, delivering a 0-60 mph sprint in 4.5 seconds for the coupé (4.7 seconds for the cabriolet) and a top speed of nearly 183 mph. The manual transmission includes an auto-blip function for smoother downshifts and the model comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package for enhanced performance tracking.
Weight-saving elements, like lightweight windows, reduced interior insulation and available full bucket seats, bring the vehicle’s weight to 3,250 lbs in its lightest configuration, 88 lbs lighter than the base Carrera. The 911 Carrera T also includes a chassis optimized with rear-axle steering, Porsche’s PASM sports suspension and 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels to boost handling precision and responsiveness.
Externally, the Carrera T stands out with Vanadium Grey accents, an aerodynamically optimized spoiler lip from the Carrera GTS and a range of bold and classic color options. Inside, a stripped-back, sporty aesthetic is enhanced by details like a walnut gear knob, a manual transmission badge and a stopwatch in the Sport Chrono Package.
The new Carrera T is open for order now, with details on pricing and availability available upon request via official Porsche channels.
