Playboi Carti is showing no signs of stopping the rollout of his forthcoming project. After pushing fans to “Keep Streaming” his recently released tracks from the LP – “Backrooms” with Travis Scott, “H00DBYAIR” and “2024” – the rapper dropped off the latest offering dubbed “EvilJ0rdan” on his Instagram last night.
The track surfaced on Carti’s feed right on time – 9:30 p.m. EST – after teasing the track’s premiere with the clip of the man screaming “New Carti droppin’ tonight!”
“If the bald british guys says it, then it’s dropping,” one user commented.
“EvilJ0rdan” finds Carti cooking up in the kitchen, pouring a drink into his Hello Kitty mug and donning devil horns. “First I go whip out the boat / No, I can’t hit on no brakes / My life is out of control / I’m tellin’ you, nobody’s safe / I’ve been livin’ my life limbo / My ice, it came with a tray,” he comes in hot as the thumping 808 pushes the two-minute track. The rapper also galivants around his abode with a Mr. Bungle vinyl in hand – with cover art that resembles his current outfit.
“EvilJ0rdan” is currently only housed on Carti’s Instagram and is not available to stream on any DSPs or YouTube. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates on his new project.
