Stuck between a BMW X5 M or the Mercedes-AMG G63? Well, now G-POWER has made the decision even harder thanks to its range of upgrades that have been applied to both the German super-SUVs, adding power, stance, rims, and a Stormtrooper color scheme fit for winter.
G-POWER offers a multi-stage tuning program for both cars, offering between 700 HP and 800 HP and up to 850 Nm or 950 Nm of torque (X5/G63 respectively) to produce what it calls the GX5M Bi-TURBO and the GP 63 Bi-TURBO. Both the X5’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and the G-Wagon’s four-liter counterpart have been extensively tuned with G-POWER’s GP-700 performance software, while sport downpipes, which reduce the exhaust backpressure and temperature, have also been fitted to both. In short, you’re sure to be in for a truly visceral, sound-laden driving experience.
However, if you want to go harder, opt for G-POWER’s GP-800 upgrade. Here, the X5 will produce 800 HP and 950 Nm, while the G63 will offer even more, delivering 800 HP and 1,050 Nm of torque — or enough to move a small planet. Each comes with turbocharger upgrades in this spec, as well as a GP-DEEPTONE exhaust system with flap technology for the most thunderous of sounds from the V8 engine.
Rounding out both cars are optional 23″ HURRICANE RS and HURRICANE RR forged rims which are both larger than life yet lighter than the stock wheels. Take a look at both cars above, and find out more on G-POWER’s site.
