Peacock has released a brand new, never-before-seen cold open from The Office.
NBC‘s streaming service shared the clip ahead of the premiere of the fourth season of The Office: Superfan Episodes, and dates back to the 2008 episode “Job Fair.” Dunder-Mifflin regional manager Michael Scott can be heard screaming in the bathroom and is quickly attended to by Dwight. The pair head back into the office and Michael explains to everyone that he dropped everything — his phone, bluetooth earpiece, wallet, tip calculator and more — inside the toilet bowl. The story earns a stifled laugh from the office, and while Dwight technically sees it as “toilet humor,” Michael sees it as a “toilet tragedy.”
