When Paramore teased its cover of the Talking Heads‘ “Burning Down The House,” last month, A24 fans and music aficionados alike went crazy. Today, A24 unveiled the full slate of artists expected to appear on the tribute album – which comes a few months after the production company remastered and rereleased the band’s iconic Stop Making Sense concert film – aptly named Everyone’s Getting Involved. Spanning 16 songs from 16 artists, the project is set to feature Paramore’s cover of the band’s infamous cut – which was also released in full today – as well as contributions from Teezo Touchdown, Miley Cyrus, Lorde and many others.
Jean Dawson, Toro y Moi, Kevin Abstract, girl in red, The National and BADBADNOTGOOD are also set to show out on the stacked cover album.
Paramore dropped off their cover for “Burning Down the House” in full today, though the other cover tracks performed by the other 15 artists have not yet surfaced. Other artists included in the 16-track project include Blondshell, DJ Tunez, Chicano Batman, The Linda Lindas, The Cavemen., Money Mark and El Mató a un Policía Motorizado.
