Owen Wilson has officially announced his return to hit Marvel and Disney+ show Loki.
In a recent interview with WIRED, Wilson was asked whether or not he will be reprising his role as TVA agent Mobius for season two of Loki. Wilson simply replied,
“Yes, he is coming back to Loki. And I think we’re gonna start filming that pretty soon. I had a great time working on Loki. I really enjoyed Tom Hiddleston and all the people on that.”
Marvel first confirmed the second season of Loki in a post-credits scene in the finale episode of season one. In an interview with Marvel.com, protagonist Tom Hiddleston confirmed his excitement for the show stating, “I am so grateful that we got to do season one, I still am not quite able to process that we get to have another go at this. I am so excited by the possibilities. We are already in discussions. Deep, deep, deep discussions. I can’t wait to get started.”
Production for season two of Loki begins in 2022. Disney+ has not yet announced a release date for the new episodes.
