Only 50 Units of the Honda e Limited Edition Will Be Built

Only 50 Units of the Honda e Limited Edition Will Be Built

Honda unveiled its tiny electric city car, the Honda e, back in 2019 and it has since gone on to charm and warm the hearts of automotive enthusiasts around the world. But for those looking for something that bit more special, you’re in luck, as Honda has just announced the launch of the Honda e Limited Edition.

With only 50 being made — and all of them destined for Europe — the Honda e Limited Edition might be one of the rarest all-electric cars in the world. This special version takes the now-signature e platform, that being a small, boxy silhouette that’s renowned for its cute features such as the round headlights and dinky camera-equipped side mirrors, and gives it the limited edition once over.

With this, Honda takes the “Advance Grade” spec and applies a special “Premium Crystal Red” paint alongside black glossy accents. Black badges now grace the front and rear, while the 17″ rims are also decked in black. These features accentuate the minimalist design, while inside Honda’s usual technological dash-spanning interface remains.

If you need any convincing, Honda recently lent its EV to the Formula One champion Max Verstappen, who said, “The Honda e Limited Edition is simply lovely. It has funky looks, a compact design and is fun to drive. It’s a great electric urban vehicle.”

The Honda e Limited Editon starts from £38,120 GBP and can be ordered today via Honda’s online form. Take a closer look at the car above.

Elsewhere in the automotive world, Hyundai has unveiled its all-new IONIQ 6.
