A rare 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6, one of fewer than 1,500 air-cooled models ever made, is up for auction through RM Sotheby’s. This exceptional vehicle, finished in its original Black Pearl paint over a grey leather interior, represents a coveted piece of automotive history.
The car was first delivered to Belgium via Carrera Motors in Sint-Martens-Latem, where it was meticulously maintained until 2005. After a brief period in Germany and registration in the Netherlands, it was acquired by its current owner in 2015. Since then, the Porsche 911 has been regularly serviced at Porsche Centre Rotterdam, with its service book boasting 36 stamps as proof of its well-documented care.
In May 2024, the car underwent Porsche’s renowned 111-point vehicle health check, ensuring its pristine condition. Detailed findings and condition photos from this inspection are available for prospective buyers to review. As for its specification, the rare model features grey leather sports seats, a top-tinted windscreen, a power sunroof and a leather-covered steering wheel, embodying both luxury and performance.
This stunning Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6, with roughly 109,000 miles on its odometer, is set to go under the hammer on July 27, as part of RM Sotheby’s The Tegernsee Auction and is expected to fetch as much as $405,000 USD by the sales close.
