Offset has dropped off his latest cinematic visual lifted from his second solo studio album, SET IT OFF. In the newly released “BLAME IT ON SET” music video, the Migos rapper transitions from his nine-to-five to his after-hours debauchery.
Directed by Maya Table and creative directed by SheShe Pendleton, the visual opens with Offset posted up behind his desk, accompanied by a growing stack of files. “I could’ve kept it to myself, they can’t be too upset (Myself) / I done broke bread, cut checks, they can’t be too upset (Hey) / I took that rope off my neck, they couldn’t be too upset,” the rapper spits as he breaks free from his corporate calling.
A high-energy – and highly aesthetic – compilation of vignettes follows, seeing Offset dabble between outfits and locations, all the while flexing his glimmering smile and impressive dance moves.
SET IT OFF sees Offset expand and evolve his artistry, tapping artists including Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Latto and Cardi B. Last week, he enlisted Toliver for a lively performance of “WORTH IT” on Jimmy Fallon‘s The Tonight Show.
