Norman Reedus has officially been cast in the upcoming John Wick spinoff, Ballerina.
The actor, who recently closed out his lengthy run on AMC’s The Walking Dead, joins a cast comprised of Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Catalina Sandino Moreno. Ballerina will follow de Armas as Rooney, a ballet dancer who is out to seek revenge on those who murdered her family, and will supposedly feature a cameo from Keanu Reeves as John Wick.
“We’re huge fans of Norman, and we’re confident that the fans will be just as excited as we are that he’s joining the Wick universe. He’ll make an incredible addition to Ballerina,” producer Erica Lee shared in a statement.
Filming is currently underway and will be helmed by Len Wiseman, with Shay Hatten writing the script and Basil Iwanyk, Lee and Chad Stahelski serving as producers.
