Kirby and the Forgotten Land has received a new trailer showcasing what gameplay will look like in its 3D open-world format.
The Nintendo Switch game opens with Kirby’s arrival in an unknown land. Upon discovering that Waddle Dees are disappearing after being kidnapped by the Beast Pack, Kirby is joined by a character named Elfilin on his mission to rescue them.
To aid in the journey, Kirby has two new skills: the Drill and Ranger copy abilities. Drill allows players to burrow into the ground to attack enemies from below. Ranger lets players set their sights on enemies located far in the distance.
In co-op play mode, players can invite another user to game alongside them as Bandana Waddle Dee. The trailer highlights Waddle Dee wielding a spear to assist Kirby in taking down enemies during an attack.
There’s also a Wise Waddle Dee, who will clue players along the way in with helpful tips and hints.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land launches for Nintendo Switch on March 25. Priced at $60 USD, the game is currently available for pre-order at select retailers and in Nintendo eShop.
In other gaming news, another potential $2 million USD Tom Brady rookie card was listed on Lelands.
