Nine Inch Nails confirm 2025 world tour, delay announcement due to LA fires

After numerous leaks on Monday (January 13th), Nine Inch Nails have confirmed that they will indeed embark on a 2025 world tour. However, frontman Trent Reznor and company have decided to delay the official announcement in light of the current wildfires that have been decimating Los Angeles.

A statement posted Monday night on NIN’s social media pages reads, “Since some dates and information about our world tour have leaked we are confirming that yes we will be touring and will provide more details soon. We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening.”

Thus far, three dates have leaked: August 23rd at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON; August 31st at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, OH; and September 10th at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. The outing has apparently been dubbed the “Peel It Back World Tour.”

This year’s shows will mark the legendary industrial act’s first concerts since a November 2022 set at the VetsAid benefit concert in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to that gig, NIN played a once-in-a-lifetime show at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where Reznor and the current NIN lineup were joined onstage by classic members of the band.

In between tours, Reznor and NIN bandmate Atticus Ross have been busy scoring movies, recently being named Consequence‘s 2024 Composers of the Year and winning a Golden Globe for their work on the film Challengers. They’re also set to score the upcoming film TRON: Ares under the NIN name, among other projects.
