Nikon Unveils Its 45.7-Megapixel Flagship Z 9 Mirrorless

Nikon has just unveiled its latest flagship mirrorless camera: the Z 9.

Built specifically for high-speed image capture, the new camera pairs the company’s very own EXPEED 7 processor with a 45.7-megapixel sensor to record high-resolution photographs at exceedingly quick speeds. 3D Tracking is paired with deep learning to allow for fast subject detection, while a High-Speed Frame Capture mode can push capturing speeds to up to 120 frames per second at 11 megapixels. For those looking for more defined files, you’ll also be able to shoot RAW images at 20 fps with an incredible 1,000+ image buffer.

Other features rounding out the Z 9 include 8K video recording at 24p/30p or 4K at 24p/30p/60p/120p, a four-axis 3.2-inch LCD touchscreen, a 3.6 million dot OLED electric viewfinder, and a robust camera body with built-in weather resistance.

For those interested, Nikon’s new Z 9 mirrorless camera is now available for pre-order over on Adorama for $5,500 USD.
