NIGO and publisher Rizzoli are releasing a book titled I Know NIGO, focused on the album of the same name that the HUMAN MADE and KENZO designer released in 2022.
The book compiles the archives of the project and centers around the collaborations he has done with various artists on the project. As per the official description, “The book is a visual record of the material culture generated by these partnerships. These collaborative goods—in limited quantities, emblazoned with logos and slogans—are a vital part of why Nigo®’s designs are so sought after. The same maximalist philosophy is employed in the design of the book, with original character art and all-over graphics integral to the visual narrative.”
When NIGO first released the album, it was his first in two decades and saw the return of the Teriyaki Boyz. The book documents his collaborations with many other artists including Pharrell, A$AP Rocky and Tyler, the Creator. It also documents some of the limited-edition collaborations in “apparel, sneakers, accessories, album covers and collectibles and an archive of trademark graphics and patterns.” Pharrell writes a foreword for the bock alongside an introduction written by Steven Victor.
I Know NIGO is set to go on sale on Amazon and on Rizzoli on April 9, 2024.
