Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have unveiled the release date of their newest collaboration “Barbie World,” which will be part of the soundtrack of Greta Gerwig’s upcoming film Barbie.
The pair took to Instagram to announce the news, confirming that “Barbie World” will release on June 23. “It’s BARBIE B!CH[.] If you still in doubt,” Minaj wrote on Instagram. Billboard also adds that Aqua, the original artists of April 1997’s hit “Barbie World,” is credited in the track.
“Barbie World” will mark Minaj and Spice’s latest joint following the “Princess Diana” remix, which made history as the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart’s first No. 1 by two featured women, and hit No. 4 on the Hot 100.
Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s “Barbie World” drops June 23 while Barbie and its soundtrack release on July 21.
