Nicki Minaj enlists 50 Cent for a remix of her Pink Friday 2 cut “Beep Beep.”
Clocking in at two and a half minutes, the alternative version features a new chorus from the Barbie herself and a second verse from Fif that hears him hop on the same menacing wavelength as Minaj, dropping similarly threatening bars over the Murda Beatz production. “Beep Beep” marks the two artists’ first ever collaboration and arrives just after Minaj delivered her highly-anticipated Pink Friday 2.
The record’s estimated 41 million streams from the weekend set the record for the biggest debut for a female hip-hop album in Spotify history. It is also now eligible for a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after selling at least 500,000 units in the United States, and is currently on track to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200.
To support her newest album, Minaj will be going on a global tour starting March 2024. She will be performing in US cities like Oakland, Denver, Las Vegas, Seattle and Phoenix and in the UK and Europe.
