New luxury retailers coming to South Coast in 2024

South Coast Plaza, one of Southern California’s largest shopping centers, is expanding its roster of high-fashion tenants this year.

More than 30 new boutiques will open at the Costa Mesa center in 2024. Boutiques opening in the first part of the year include BVLGARI, Cartier, Casper, Chloé, Gucci, Lanvin and Palm Angels. Boutiques arriving later this year include Alaia, Amiri, Armani/Caffè, Baccarat, Courrèges, Dior Men, Eileen Fisher, Jacques Marie Mage, Mejuri, Santa Maria Novella, Wolford and Zegna, with more to be announced soon.

Details on the upcoming boutique openings are as follow:

  • Gucci will open a new 19,000-sq.-ft. two-level flagship location in Spring 2024, which will be adjacent to the two-level Balenciaga flagship that debuted late last year.
  • Chloé and Baccarat are among the brands reimagining their existing South Coast Plaza boutiques.
  • Cartier and BVLGARI will open new, expanded  Jewel Court boutiques in Spring 2024, with Harry Winston redesigning and expanding its boutique later in the year.
  • Dior will open a new men’s store adjacent to its flagship boutique this year.
  • Alaia, Amiri, Mejuri and Santa Maria Novella will open boutiques this yearas well as new boutiques for existing brands Eileen Fisher, Wolford and Zegna. 
  • Courrèges, which first came to South Coast Plaza in the 1970s, will open a new store this year in 2024.

In 2023, South Coast Plaza opened more than 30 luxury fashion stores, including the most recent debuts from Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, Balmain and Giorgio Armani.
