New ‘Doctor Strange 2’ Trailer Reveals an Unexpected Team Up From Wanda and Wong

Marvel has released a new 30-second teaser trailer for its upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness film.

The most recent clip features never-before-seen footage of Elizabeth Olsen‘s character, Wanda Maximoff. She appears to give fans a greater glimpse into the conversation with Doctor Strange, discussing an imminent threat to the Multiverse. The teaser also shows a shot where Wanda and Wong appear to be fighting side-by-side against a new CGI monster, that has yet to be seen in the MCU before.

It was also recently announced that the runtime for Doctor Strange 2 will be shorter than expected. The film was originally reported to run for two and a half hours, but it has an official runtime of two hours and six minutes. The film follows the consequences of the Spider-Man: No Way Home events that saw the multiverse break open once again.

Tickets for the film go on sale on April 6. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrives in theaters on May 4.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman join forces on a dark comedy thriller, The Kill Room.
