With Season 4 around the corner, it has been revealed that Call of Duty: Warzone will be seeing some changes to the Caldera map.
The upcoming update reportedly will be similar to the update of Verdansk from last year. Although the map will retain the same layout, Season 4 will see significant changes to the; Caldera will be reduced by 50% to create better visibility and new POIs will be added to the game. However, the game is expected to receive seven new underground vaults and there have been speculations that an altered version of Storage Town might return to the game.
Resurgence will also be receiving a complete change in the upcoming season. Players will be waving goodbye to Rebirth Island to make way for the new map, Fortune’s Keep. With all the changes happening to the game, ensure you have enough storage in your hardware.
Caldera was first introduced at the end of 2021, shortly after the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard. The map saw positive feedback as it was the first time players got a major map change since the game’s launch. However, it also meant that players had to say goodbye to Verdansk.
Season 4 comes out on June 22nd across all platform
It looks like there will also be 7 new underground vaults to explore, new “micro POI’s”, overall better visibility and more coming to Caldera with Season 4 on June 22.
