Following months of waiting, TMS and Netflix are finally gearing up for the release of Season 2 of the Baki Hanma anime. Adapting Keisuke Itagaki’s Hanma Baki – Son of Ogre manga, the latest English subtitled trailer for the upcoming season of the anime series previews the season’s theme song and reveals new characters.
Most notably, the new look shares information regarding Pickle, a warrior from a bygone, primitive age. The enigmatic figure is set to shake things up, although not much is known about the character. Pickle is known to be a primitive man found perfectly preserved in a saline rock formation, hence his name. The fighter that originally lived during the Jurassic/Cretaceous era possesses enormous raw endurance and primitive durability, often relying on his primitive instincts.
Season 2 of Baki Hanma will begin with the “Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga” July 26, followed by the anime’s “The Father VS Son Saga” August 24.
